I thought I'd share this article I just read in the WSJ, "How to Innovate in a Downturn". It got me thinking about a few things I have had in the back of my mind during these last few months. One thing I think companies need to be doing right now more than ever is reevaluating all of their products from the standpoint of who their markets are and who their customers are. Are they the same? If they aren't the same, who exactly is your customer and how are you meeting their needs? It's not just about price, either, it is about features and what value those specific customers place in your product.
